Wrapd is based in Cape Town, South Africa. We currently offer professional installation services in the Cape Town and greater Western Cape area.
Do you offer installations outside of Cape Town?
At this stage, installations are only available in the Cape Town area. However, our product-only kits can be purchased online and shipped to you anywhere in South Africa.
How many ambient lighting kits do you offer?
We offer one complete ambient lighting kit designed to provide the main features customers want without the confusion of choosing between multiple versions.
How is the ambient lighting controlled?
The lighting is controlled through a compatible mobile application. From the app, you can change colours, brightness, lighting effects and other adjustable settings.
What colours are available?
The kit provides access to the full colour spectrum through the mobile application, allowing you to choose a colour that matches your interior or personal style.
Does the kit include dynamic lighting effects?
Yes. The app includes dynamic colour options and animated lighting effects, allowing you to switch between a subtle static glow and more active lighting modes.
Is the brightness adjustable?
Yes. The brightness can be adjusted through the app, so the lighting can be kept subtle for everyday driving or made brighter when desired.
Can I adjust the speed of the lighting effects?
The kit’s available dynamic settings are adjustable through the app, including the lighting style and other supported effect controls.
What services do you offer?
We specialise in two areas: Car Audio Upgrades (head units, speakers, subwoofers, amplifiers) and Lighting Kits (interior ambient lighting and exterior lighting solutions).
How do I book an installation?

Can I buy a kit without installation?
Yes! All our kits are available for purchase online without installation. Simply add to cart and we'll ship it to you.
How long does an installation take?
Installation times vary depending on the complexity of the job. A standard car audio upgrade typically takes 2–4 hours, while lighting kit installations can take 1–3 hours. We'll give you a more accurate estimate when you book.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal. Payment is processed securely at checkout.
